Pacific Symphony’s “Lunar New Year Concert And Celebration”admin
Abundant with symbols of good luck and prosperity for the year ahead, Pacific Symphony’s extravagant “Lunar New Year Celebration and Concert” delighted 200 guests with a feast for all the senses on Saturday evening, Jan. 25 at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. The elegant affair brought together the trans-formative and unifying power of music, art and dance from both Eastern and Western cultures. A festive champagne reception and sumptuous dinner preceded the Symphony’s annual Lunar New Year concert. Symphony board member Charles Zhang and his wife Ling, along with Mei Yen Chang, chaired the event, joined by their co-chairs Carol Choi and Michelle Horowitz. Guests were stylishly attired in glamorous evening wear in colors associated with the Lunar New Year that represent good luck, joy and happiness. And as luck would have it, the event raised more than $320,000.
It is such an honor to be part of this charity celebration. Being able to share my cultural traditions with my friends and the community”, stated Cindy Chin |KW Royal Global Group.
